What is air duct cleaning?
Air duct cleaning refers to the cleaning of various heating and cooling system components of forced air systems. Is dryer vent cleaning & installation necessary?
Keeping your dryer vents clean is essential for better energy efficiency and safety. A dryer exhausts hot, moist air to dry your laundry. If your dryer vent becomes blocked by lint, the air will not be able to discharge moisture like it was designed to do. Lint is also a highly flammable material, and your dryer uses heat to dry laundry, which could cause a possible fire hazard.
Is duct removal & reinstallation worth it?
Like all household equipment, your ductwork could also suffer from wear and tear. Ductworks can last for up to 25 years. But by 15 years, it will start to deteriorate and reduce the efficiency of your HVAC system. So removal of your old ducts and reinstallation of new on is a prudent choice to make.
Should I replace my dryer vent?
If your dryer vent is completely clogged and runs inefficiently, it might be time to replace it. Contact an expert to have your dryer vent adequately removed and installed. By no means should you do it yourself, or you might end up with a broken dryer. Contact Mr. Duct Cleaner for your dryer vent replacements.
How is an air duct cleaning process done?
At Mr. Duct Cleaner, we first do a visual inspection of your ducts to assess the build-up and condition of your ductwork. We then scrub the build-up to dislodge debris from the ductwork and use a vacuum hose to suck up the dust from the inside. We then clean and sanitize the interior to eliminate any microbes and fungus that might stay behind.
